Miles
Pelky Greg Brosnan John Chiriboga
Miles Pelky, the owner of Mobile Dance Party, and Live Event Artist established
his DJ career in 1987, with an exclusive contract with Marriott
Hotels in San Francisco. He was in charge of nightclub entertainment,
promotions and special events.
Later,
anxious to travel and incorporate his love of music (Miles
has been a drummer since he was 12 years old), he grabbed
a DJ position on Carnival Cruise Lines. Within eight months,
he was voted number-one entertainer, and promoted to the flagship
of the cruise line.
Returning
to San Diego, in 1989, Miles worked briefly on a local radio
station as a traffic reporter, and in various nightclubs in
the evening. Then, Miles established Mobile Dance Party, in
1991, and has been entertaining San Diego audiences ever since!
Some of the highlights of his career have been working with
Chubby Checker, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Gap Band, Cirque
de Solei and with IBM, on a three-week cruise through Spain,
France and Italy.
To
assist others in his business, Miles established a monthly
forum to discuss the latest techniques, music and equipment.
There, he spoke on the most-important qualities of a professional,
competent entertainer.
Miles
is one of the most-popular DJ's in San Diego. His professional
attitude, warm personality and outgoing nature have put him
on the referral list of San Diego's top hotels and production
companies.
Providing
the finest in entertainment and special services is the mission
of Miles and Mobile Dance Party. The company provides the
services of up to three disc jockeys. The company is fully
insured, and is a member of the American
Disc Jockey Association.
In addition to his Dj business, Miles has also just recently launched the business Live Event Artist- which is the most wonderfully creative way to capture your special day! Live Event Artist will come to your celebration and capture a portion of your day - on canvas and while the event is going on!
