John Chiriboga is a professional DJ drawing on 20 years of experience. He has entertained San Diego audiences at hundreds of weddings, corporate events, private parties and various nightclubs.

John worked at KOGO Radio selling advertising and writing commercials. At KSDO Radio, John was a news writer, and a producer for the talk-show, Feelings, with TV News Anchor - Ron Fortner. After radio, he worked at KGTV/Channel 10, as a news writer and assignment editor.

His DJ highlights include working with Jan and Dean, the Governor of Iowa during the Holiday Bowl Party at the Hotel Del Coronado, and provided entertainment for the Champion America¹s Cup Regatta Team. He was the DJ at the wedding receptions of: Ralph Rubio (Rubios Restaurants), and for the niece of George Hamilton (TV & Movie Actor) at Fairbanks Ranch.

Currently John is an educator beginning his 18th year as a public school Junior High Teacher. He¹s also an adjunct instructor for UCSD¹s Graduate School of Education through their Extended Studies Program.

John¹s depth of knowledge, veteran entertainment skills and caring demeanor make him a consummate professional DJ for any event. He¹s a graduate of San Diego State University with degrees in Business Administration and Radio-TV News.

In 1992, John earned his Master¹s Degree in Teaching & Learning from the Graduate School of Education at Point Loma Nazarene University here in San Diego. When he¹s not DJ-ing you¹ll find him surfing, playing tennis, enjoying his family and doing stand-up comedy.
